where is it?
Overview of Support offered
Our training sessions last 3 hours and can be delivered to groups of 10 people. The training session covers different aspects of Safety at Work.
Topics covered in the session include:
- Bullying – what it is, the forms it can take and what you can do if you are a victim.
- Mate Crime – what it is; the different types of Mate Crime you might encounter and how you can cope if you are a victim.
- How to keep your money safe – budgeting and using Cash Machines safely.
- Dangers of Loan Sharks.
- Travelling Safely – quiz to help attendees learn how to keep safe travelling to and from work.
The sessions include activities that aid learning. All of our sessions are interactive and practical and keep away from the formal classroom environment.
The sessions will enable you to increase your confidence when working and will make you feel more knowledgeable and empowered.

what equipment should i bring?
You will have a better understanding of how to keep yourself safe to prevent you from becoming a victim of crime.
You will have increased confidence to face the working environment and understand some of the issues that you may face and how to keep safe from them.
You will have a better understanding of how to identify and report a crime, or something within the working environment that you feel uncomfortable with.
