where is it?

The initial introduction can be done at the hubs. But there will be some days that we will need to go into local schools. Leisure centres and local parks.

Duration?

10am – 4pm – 2 Days per week – 5 weeks.

Overview of Support offered

The course will help you break into the world of sports coaching. You will gain experience working with qualified coaches. You will learn how to plan a coaching session. You will assist in running coaching sessions in basketball, football, hockey tennis, multi-skills or volleyball. You will gain a basic 1st aid qualification.

Trainers, tracksuit, waterproof top.

Outcomes expected

You will gain a level one award in Coaching Multi Skills – You will have one week work experience on successful completion of a DBS check with our sports coaching company. The qualification and experience will also give you an idea of which coaching awards you would like to do first.
