Overview of Support offered

We now offer a level 1 qualification that provides you with the opportunity to learn about conflict, what drives it and how better you can manage your responses to it. The Conflict Management course (IIQ3694) is a level 1 qualification and contains 5 units:

IIQ3694/001 An Introduction to Conflict Management & Resolution
IIQ3694/002 Understanding Different Conflict Management Styles
IIQ3694/003 Causes of conflict and dealing with conflict in different, positive ways
IIQ3694/004 Managing a Conflict Scenario
IIQ3694/005 Resolving conflict, the benefits and the way forward

This includes learning needs assessments and setting of individual learning plans.

We already successfully deliver this to those struggling with challenging behaviours and mental health issues.

Based upon the work we have undertaken to date we can report back, in line with our NCFE independent feedback:

  • Increased understanding of own behaviours and improved listening skills
  • Increased skill levels in recognising conflict and managing more appropriate responses to it
  • Increased confidence in working relationships and personal relationships due to the above
