Overview of Support offered

We design and deliver CV writing and interview preparation workshops. We
work with candidates to identify and work with the strengths an individual
already has and to enhance these through coaching and training. We uses a
variety of tools and approaches appropriate for everyone. Proven
psychometric measures including the MTQ48 and the Carrus Career
Management Toolkit for which we are a licensed user.

Our two- day Programme is built around four key stages and themes: market
research, product development, marketing and post project implementation.
The titles for these sections deliberately borrowed from the world of work.
The content and approach is drawn from a wide variety of proven approaches
and techniques including coaching, facilitation, NLP, cognitive behavioural
training, sports psychology, neuroscience and personal development.
They are designed to equip the attendees with the knowledge, skills, mindset
and most importantly capability, to manage themselves in securing and
sustaining gainful employment for years to come.

1.Market Research (Psychology of success)

This prepares the individual mentally for the work required to get them ready,
willing and able to do the work necessary to prepare themselves for finding
and securing a job. It also identifies the challenges they may face and equips
them with the self-awareness, tools and techniques to improve their chances
of success. It develops their self-leadership.

2. Product Development

This section of the programme is focussed on identifying the abilities,
temperament and assets of the person so they can translate into a workable
plan for finding employment.
It helps them identify their unique transferrable assets as well as developing
the necessary work skills including communicating, listening, and the three
things employers most prize: team-working, conscientiousness and concern for
standards.
It is entirely scalable and can, where applicable, use the CARRUS psychometric
measure assessing 12 personality based attributes and 4 areas of ability.
Participants also spend time looking at the 10 things they can bring to any job
that require zero experience and talent but that can make the difference in
sustaining employment

3. Marketing

The marketing part of the programme is concerned with looking at what
employers want. It then builds on what the previous section and covers CV,
cover letters, application forms and techniques, job search, how to prepare for
and excel at interviews including basic personal conduct and etiquette.
It also looks at social media and what to do, and not do online, to improve
chances of finding employment as well as deciphering job adverts.

4. Post project implementation

This final stage of the programme covers what to do and not do in the first
three months if any job.
