Overview of Support offered
Under the guidance of an experienced leader, participants are taught how to build a den from natural materials that are available on site or in the local woodland. The participants are shown how to make their den waterproof using moss and leaves. This activity is fun and encourages team building and cooperation.

what equipment should I bring
Waterproof clothing and boots or wellingtons are useful if weather is poor, the Centre may be able to supply some for loan.
Participants gain a better knowledge of survival techniques and of the surrounding woodland. Communication and team work skills will improve as participants have to work together and rely on one another’s support.
