Overview of Support offered

Support can be given to any young person who desires to become a football coach. In the first instance the relevant young person would shadow lead coaches in their delivery of coaching sessions which could be within schools or the community.

Ongoing advice and guidance will be given to the young person by the lead coach and the Football Development Officer/ Coordinator.

Once the young person has demonstrated the necessary skills, qualities and abilities then we would seek to place the young person on a FA level 1 or 2 course.
