Week 3 – Healthy Eating – This session is taking place in a commercial café environment at Top Church Training (learners will be transported by minibus) and takes place on a Tuesday. Our facilitator will give you advice on how to keep yourself healthy and fresh and also the importance of keeping your clothes and personal possessions clean as well.
Week 6 – Basic First Aid Certificate – Come along and find out the basics of First Aid should you need it – how to put a bandage on – what happens when someone is unconscious (what do you do to help)? Also if you are a parent, what do you need to know if a baby is choking? You will get a qualification at the end of the session.
Week 7 – Interview Preparation – So you are confident to try your luck at an interview – this session will give you practical tips on how to make a good impression and will give you the confidence to do well!
Week 8 – Not straight into work? – What about volunteering? As a group you will access volunteering projects that will help you understand what is out there and how you can get involved to make a difference to your community.
