Overview of Support offered
The course will take you through advanced programming for weight training, aerobic and circuit training. You will learn about pre=and post exercise nutrition. How to support clients and develop their routines. Develop your experience of in-depth fitness testing, strength and conditioning. Learn about communication and motivation strategies. Study programme design for outside the gym.
On completion of the course, you will be given the opportunity to complete a week’s work experience at the gym. There is a great support network available to you whilst completing this course, online, text messaging and one to one tutorials as well as the main theory and practical sessions.

What equipment should I bring?
Training shoes, tracksuit or shorts and t-shirt.
On completion of the level 2 Gym Instructor course, The personal training course will mean you are able to apply for personal training jobs across the UK. Both in the public and private leisure sector or be self-employed. Progress onto the level 3 strength and conditioning course.
