Overview of Support offered

We want to provide a programme for hard to help NEET young people aged 19+ years old. The programme will be delivered over 6 weeks, with the opportunity to extend up to 12 weeks where the individual needs additional support. The main focus of the programme will be centred on progressing young people into sustainable progressions.

The programme will be delivered for up to 10 hours a week, and will consist of the following sessions :

  • English, Maths and ICT sessions
  • Employability sessions
  • Confidence building
  • Mentoring
  • Personal and Social Development
  • Vocational Tasters.
  • Healthy Living and emotional well being.

Learners will receive a weekly bus pass to cover the cost of transport to and from the centre

Learning will be linked to Functional skills Maths and English/GCSE maths and English and to the ICT and employability/progression qualifications.
