16 hours per week – delivered over 3 days. 09.00 – 15.30 approx
Course duration is 8 weeks with an intake every 2 weeks.
Wed – Fri weekly.

Overview of Support offered

You will have to attend a group information session and complete a Literacy/Numeracy assessment prior to starting the course.
Ready for Work has been designed to support you to choose from a range of training options. The college has a large number of course to help you and develop your Employability skills. There are 3 accredited qualifications on offer to help remove barriers that may prevent your current job prospects.

This eight week programme will take learners through a series of topics to help develop your skills.  The tutor will seek to support you to search for careers and plan the progression route to that chosen career.  This may include progression into further study, Traineeships or Apprenticeships and employment.  The programme will give the you essential employability skills whilst developing your English and Maths skills to the standard expected by potential employers.
