Overview of Support offered

“Chat’n’Change” counselling – offering you confidential, relaxed sessions where we will work together on your individual worries, stresses and experiences to help you overcome, manage those stresses and help you to reach your personal goals.

As experienced listeners we will work with you at your pace and help you to unravel what can sometimes be a complex web of thoughts and feelings. We would want you to feel free to be annoyed, angry, upset, to acknowledge feelings of being let down by those you trust. We will give you a safe space to express your thoughts and feelings, we will hear what you say and help you find solutions, so your past experiences do not determine your future prospects.

Our Chat ‘n’ Change Support Service will include one to one (relaxation, coping techniques, improving confidence, self-esteem and managing emotions), Telephone support and Group work are also available (Sharing experiences with others, focusing on specific topics chosen by you).

We will help you tap into your creative side, instilling or restoring belief in yourself and keeping you at the centre of all we do. We will also help you to “take control,” being responsible in preparation for your own future.

We would expect that as a result of attending Chat ‘n’ Change sessions – you will feel more confident, more in control and positive about your future.
